For Planning & Procurement services in the Manufacturing area. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five (5) years of previous experience in purchasing and/or production control activities within the Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Industry.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. 
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
  • Experience in:
    • Policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to purchasing material and/or production control. 
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory management programs. 
    • Market and economic indicators, practices, and procurement procedures. 
    • GMP & GDP regulations.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) 

  • Plan and manage material requirements to support production schedules and new product launches.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers to optimize cost and ensure timely supply.
  • Analyze price trends and inventory forecasts to support annual standard costing recommendations.
  • Manage purchase orders using ERP and vendor portals, including EW and VMI analysis.
  • Generate purchase orders through the Manufacturing Enterprise system.
  • Lead procurement strategies that meet quality, cost, inventory, and delivery goals (favorable PPV).
  • Resolve supply chain issues through cross-functional collaboration (e.g., non-conforming materials, vendor capacity).
  • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) to address supplier-related quality issues and final dispositions.
  • Establish and maintain inventory targets, developing action plans to meet goals.
  • Identify and implement cost and cycle time reduction initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing production plans, including capacity planning and resource analysis.
  • Manage work orders and collaborate across departments to ensure production schedules are met and validated.
